Joanne Lett-Sellers is a retired LA County Probation Officer and former Foster Parent; with a background in Sociology, Criminology and Early Childhood Development. She has worked with thousands of children. These children, unfortunately, were labeled as juvenile delinquents. They were good children, but they lacked the proper guidance in selecting peer associations, making appropriate choices and positive decision-making skills. With this in mind, Manners Matter, Growing Up Can Be Easier was written to assist parents in providing their children with basic guidelines to handle the pressures and challenges of this world today. Joanne is a divorced, mother of three sons, one deceased daughter, four grandsons and two granddaughters. She resides in Southern Texas.
