End of March Madness and Time for Plan B

End of March Madness and Time for Plan B

At the beginning of the month of March, I had sports in mind. I just knew that I would be watching college sports all day, picking my team, rooting for the underdog and possibly disappointed by the outcome. But there are no live sports playing right now only replays, reruns and remember when. Who knew that in a manner of weeks, we would be home, by order of authorities and law and this would be our new normal. My husband hates that phrase but it’s true. Our lives may return to normal and I’m hopeful that it is soon but right now this is where we are. Safety first. No mass assembly. It is a real and serious situation that we find ourselves in. You know what’s going on but, what happens next? What will you do when some sense of normalcy returns? Business as usual? Same old, same old? Will this just be a bad dream or will you actually use this as a time to actually plan how to Live Your Best Life? That’s a decision that you have to make. I can’t make it for you. I will be honest and say that daily I pray, meditate, re-evaluate and keep active to not dip into deep despair about where we are now. But I am hopeful. Why? I choose to be. At the end of what is real March Madness, Who do I have? God, Me and Family. That’s who I choose. I pick us to get through this together. I also choose you, to encourage, empower and inspire to be your best self for YOU! I wrote a book titled, “Plan B” that I was to release at an teacher entrepeneur event to help them create businesses to increase their income but to make sure that they are living the life they were born to live and not someone else’s. There is a mindset, motives and movements that have to change. You may have to reset your internal settings to the original manufacturer’s (GOD) intention for your life. Are you living Plan A or are you ready for Plan B? Plan B is to BE Your Best Self. The event was cancelled but I want to gift the book to anyone in this season who is striving to move and actually walk in their purpose in life. Put in the comments section, your email and “I Choose Me,” and I’ll gift the ebook directly to you.

Blessings, Peace and Safety.

I Wish I Could But I Can’t

I wish I could tell you everything that is going to happen or should happen in 2020. I can’t. I have to live each day to the fullest, doing and giving my best. That’s all I’ve got is my best. I miss it sometimes. I’m getting old and may forget. I misunderstand sometimes and have to go back and read the directions, watch the video or even ask a friend. But I’m going all out. I am going for the gold. I’m going to die empty. I promise that to you and myself. I am giving my best. I encourage you to do your best. I offer tools, strategies, courses, books and videos with my best. I can’t make you. I can’t demand it of you. I only offer it. With a price tag at times because I am in business but I offer it to you. It’s left up to you to see the gifts, talents, abilities and skills that can be developed and discovered if you accept the challenge, go through the process and finish. I wish I could make you but I can’t. I greatly appreciate all of the support, encouragement, referrals, clients and customers but if I don’t deliver, it won’t happen for me either. In the end, I can’t do it for you any more than you can do it for me. We have to help, support and love each other. Whatever that ‘it’ is for you, blessings to you and if I can help, let’s talk at http://www.talkwithroyston.com. With each passing year, I’m getting older and running out of time. I’m not ancient but not a young girl any more. Time is not on my side but wisdom is. As fast, hard and as best we can, Let’s go! Happy New Year!

Welcome December

December is the last month of the year. Eleven months have already come and gone. The time will never return. The only time you have left is the 24 hours each day gives us. I’ve been preparing, praying and planning for what’s next for the past 3 months. It’s now time to get to prepare the people, systems and strategies for what’s next.

Reflection: What worked? What didn’t work? What do you plan to do in the future? What did you enjoy doing and can’t wait to do again. Who did you meet that you know could be access to a door of opportunity for the next phase in your life? So much reflection on the good, bad and the ugly but it is key to making smarter and much better decisions in the future. True reflection allows you opportunity to remember the past so that your future looks brighter. Reflection hopefully, should NOT make you bitter but better.

Re-Group: After reflection, I usually re-group. I spend a lot of time talking to God, my husband and key people in my life. I also talk to clients, other business people and start doing research on what worked for them and how I use this same information for myself. Then I re-group. I am tweaking my systems, strategies and resources to be put in the right place at the right time and for the right results. I strive to not repeat things that didn’t work and learn better ways to do it or don’t do it at all. There may be a ton of reasons why but mostly, it is not effective.

Re-Launch: Something that were done in the past were good but once you have reflected, re-grouped, it is now time to relaunch. You can re-launch the same product or service with new features or re-launch something totally new. One of the biggest problems with unexpected results or disappointing results is slowing down or quitting. The first gut reaction is this was a failure. Don’t ever try that again. But there are many factors that could have played into not getting the results that you expected.

Next Steps. Get some advice from an expert. Get training or take a class on the area that was disappointing and then get a coach to walk you through the process. Reflect on what you want. Re-Group with an expert, training or course and then Re-launch!

Need Clear Vision – Go Around

As most of you know, I travel alot.  Lately, I’ve been driving because of the close distance of the events.  But I confess I have a little road rage.  Yes, pray for me.  I was recently driving and told my husband to take a picture of the truck in front of me.  The truck driver was doing nothing wrong so don’t contact the company.  I was thinking about vision and how this truck was blocking my vision.  I couldn’t see over or around the vehicle.  I had to rely on my own spacing to not hit the truck and monitor my speed closely.  I wouldn’t know if the truck would stop suddenly because I didn’t have a clear vision of what was ahead.  Now my second confession is that I have control issues.  Please pray much for me.  I waited, made sure that I was safe to do so but as soon as I could I went around this truck.  Why?  I couldn’t see clearly and I was relying on someone else to control my vision, speed and how fast I would get from point a to point b.  Not on my watch if I can help it.
So it made me think.  What are we relying on to control our vision, speed of transportation and arrival time to destiny? When you can’t see clearly, you rely on others.  Are they experienced, do they even know the way and can they take you somewhere they’ve never been?  I have no problem with the Holy Spirit leading, guiding and directing me.  I will ride behind the Holy Spirit until death.  But somethings we let lead are not divine at all.  We say nothing or sometimes complain, but still keep following it and letting it lead even though we have no direct order to keep following.  I took driving liberties and safely went around what was trying to lead me and I took the lead with the vision that I had. Now you might now agree with my rationale and that’s okay, but with the days that are ahead, I want to have a clear 2020 Vision.  Blessings.
