Hello November

Hello November

When I think of November, I think of being thankful.  I think of Thanksgiving and soon to be Christmas.  As an entrepreneur, I am still thankful while looking forward to Thanksgiving, adore Christmas but see the end of one year quickly becoming the beginning of a new year.

Most people probably don’t think about the New Year until after Christmas Day activities are over and you’ve returned gifts that didn’t fit.  For me, I’ve been praying, thinking and planning for 2023 since about June or July.  Why?  I’m thankful but want to be as prepared as possible.  I’m thankful but my business is my baby and I don’t want to mishandle it in any way.  I know that others wing it, fly by the seat of their pants and since 2020, some best plans don’t always turn out like you planned, but I make a plan anyway.  I review the things that I still want to get accomplished or researched before the end of the year.  I also take some time to really reflect on what went well and what didn’t go like I planned.  This November, I am so thankful for what I accomplished, harvested and what I still have in my heart to do in the near future.  What about you?

Let’s go!

October 2022 Newsletter

It’s the 4th Quarter!  The last quarter of 2022.  Many things have happened already this year and there will be more to come before it is concluded.  Some fantastic things have happened and we accomplished much but here are four things that you should strive to incorporate in your life in the 4th Quarter:

  1.  Consider doing life differently.  We lost loved ones, friends, opportunities and time but now consider doing things differently.  It will be different for each of us but hopefully, it will help you live the life that you were designed to live.
  2. Conclude some things.  You’ve got time to stop, end or bring to a proper conclusion some habits, thoughts and people from continuing in your life.  What goes into 2023?  The same thing looking for different results?  That is insanity.  Bring some things to a conclusion.  In other words, stop it.
  3. Complain about nothing if you didn’t do the research, send the email, make the call, ask questions or at least try to move forward with a project or endeavor.  That is all but know that you’ve still got time.
  4. Celebrate the smallest to the largest victories this year.  Don’t wait until December 31st. Strive to celebrate each and every day something good that did happened, something bad that God didn’t let happen and celebrate the more and get excited about what is ABOUT to happen!  Let’s go!

Hello September Goals

Greetings,

I have been creating a newsletter for at least 25 years.  At first, it was for my music only and now it is for clients, supporters, and those just interested in what Julia Royston and all of her entities are doing.  Let me say thank you for being here.  In September because it is the ninth month, I have always talked about harvest, giving birth, or what you get done before September.  When I prayed about what to talk about, God said what if someone is not interested in planting a seed at all?  What if they don’t care about writing a book or starting a business or starting anything but just striving to live?  To you I say, Live!  Take every day as it comes and live the best life that you were designed to live.  Enjoy each and every day..

Secondly, He said, “some are on divine assignments and need to keep going.”  So that’s what I am going to tell you to keep going.  Don’t stop no matter what it looks like or how hard it gets.  September is the ninth month and a triple divine number.  It’s not magical or doesn’t guarantee that something miraculous is going to happen, but you are guaranteed that God will give you the grace, strength, courage, and wisdom to complete the assignment that He called you to.

Finally, to those of us looking for a harvest to the business, book, project, child, marriage, or other endeavors that you have sown so many hours of blood, sweat, tears, money, and effort into, look for a harvest.  That harvest may not come in the same place or way that you planted but there is a harvest coming.  What you sow you will also reap.  It is a law!  Be on the lookout for the harvest!  Let’s go!

Hello August!  Back to School or Back to ?

It’s August!  Are you excited?  I hope so.  Prior to retirement, this month was always dreaded because my summer was over and I was headed back to school, back to work and back to a job and not my passion.  It was necessary, required and adult behavior that we’ve all faced but what if you had the opportunity to go back to something that you loved doing, your passion or your gift?  Wouldn’t you rush back to it?  Wouldn’t you enjoy every minute of it?  That’s what I’m challenging you to do this month, return to something that you love that you had to put to the side or delay doing because of adult responsibilities.  Life happens but always allow some space, time and opportunity for what you love.  I’ve been saying it for a while, life is too short to give up on your dreams, delay your destiny or to not walk in your purpose.  While the kids are going back to school, what will you get back to?  Think about it and then DO IT!  Let’s go!

It’s Half-Time

It is a officially Half-Time!  Half of the year is officially over.  Summer is in full swing.  The temperatures are hot no matter where you are because it is that season of life.  A time for summer.  But what time is it in your life?  What season are you in?  Is it hot or cold?  Have you made progress, slowed down or not even started yet?  I want you to take some time while you’re grilling hot dogs and sipping lemonade to think about what has happened over the first 6 months of the year.  What did you get accomplished?  What did you like or don’t want to have ever happen again?  What lies ahead for you to start and complete?  Re-Group and reorganize your life and get it done.  Turn up the heat on your life!  Let the passion that is down within rise to the top and cause you to be moved into action and mobilize to completion.  Let’s go.
